The report states that the latest version of the retail demo app contained lines of code that reference both accessories. Suggesting Google does plan official release both at some point in the future.
Of course these aren’t confirmations. Plans can always change, and there’s any number of reasons that Google might decide to never offer these accessories to Pixel Tablet owners. And simple references in lines of code are far from actual proof that Google is working on these.
