It seems like Motorola may be preparing to launch both circular and rectangular watches. The watch in question is the rumored Moto Watch 200, and images of both variants surfaced.

A rectangular model was spotted at the FCC last month. Its design was spotted, to be perfectly clear, as well as what seems to be its retail box. You can check out that design below.

That was actually rather odd, as the Moto Watch 100, which launched last year, had a circular body. Well, if a new tweet from SnoopyTech, a tipster, is to be believed, a circular model is on the way too.

You can check out the two images he shared in the gallery down below. The watch shown here obviously has a circular body, and looks considerably different than the one from the FCC listing.

Is it possible two different models are in the works? Well, yes, very much so. This is not an uncommon practice, we’ve seen a number of companies do something similar. Does this leak confirm there are two models coming? No, not really.

We’re still a bit skeptical, even though the fact the Moto Watch 100 had a circular body does suggest we’ll get a direct successor this year. The Moto Watch 200 is expected to arrive before the end of this year.

Now, the Moto Watch 200 is expected to offer wireless charging, and a heart rate sensor. 5 ATM rating for water resistance will also be included, as will Bluetooth LE, and a GPS chip.

We’re expecting Motorola to use metal in order to bring this watch(es) to life. Considering that one model already made an appearance at the FCC makes us believe the launch event is close by. That listing also suggests that at least one model will be released in the US.
