The microsite also suggests the upcoming Edge 50 Pro will include SGS Eye protection and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. The display will be safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and will have a centered punch hole cutout.

The company claims the Motorola Edge 50 Pro will have the world’s first PANTONE-validated display, camera, as well as colour. The PANTONE matching system is an international standard for colour-matching.

The upcoming phone will feature a 50MP AI-powered Pro-grade main camera with an f/1.4 aperture, though details about other sensors are yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, its AI capabilities include custom wallpaper creation and various AI features in photography, such as adaptive stabilisation and auto-focus tracking.

As for its design, the phone features a slim build with curved edges, a flat display, and a punch-hole camera. Motorola has disclosed that the Edge 50 Pro will be available in White, Black, and Purple colours.

No other details about the upcoming Motorola Edge 50 Pro are known so far, but reports say the Moto Edge 50 Pro will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor.

It is expected to come with 12GB RAM and may house a 4,500mAh battery that supports 125W wired and 50W wireless charging. Along with the 50MP primary sensor, there could be a wide-angle camera and a telephoto camera capable of 6x zoom.

Additionally, the phone is anticipated to be released under different names in other regions, such as the Moto X50 Ultra in China and the Moto Edge+ (2024) in the US.
