0 23

Recently, we had our first detailed look at the upcoming smartphone by Lenovo. We saw a pretty interesting-looking device, but the leaks are not stopping. Now, we have a new leak that shows us a little bit more of the upcoming ThinkPhone By Motorola.

We mostly know Chinese manufacturer Lenovo as a top-tier computer manufacturer. Its laptops are rather popular around the world. However, it didn’t really dip its toes into the smartphone market. That was originally the plan with Motorola. It purchased Motorola with the intention of rebranding it as Lenovo’s smartphone division.

However, that didn’t pan out. Despite that, the two companies collaborated and created some interesting Motorola-branded devices.

New leak of the ThinkPhone By Motorola shows us the more details

The last leak that we got gave us some good insight into what this phone will look like. This new leak from leakster Evan Blass shows us much the same with some additional details. For starters, we see the faux carbon fiber material that Lenovo uses on its computers. It’s a bit of a staple for the brand,

This new leak shows the device from both the left and the right side (the last leak only showed the device from the left). On the left side of the phone, we see a red button. At first glance, it looks like the power button. However, the right side of the phone has the volume button with another button below. At this point, we don’t know what the extra button will do. We will have to wait on more information to know that

As for the screen, we get a glimpse of the 6.6-inch display. Like most phones today, it has a punch-hole front and center.

On the back, we see a triple-camera setup housed inside of a rounded rectangular island. We don’t know too much about the camera package, but rumors say that there will be a 50-megapixel main camera accompanied by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The selfie camera is expected to be a 32-megapixel shooter.

What are the specs?

At this point, the specs are only rumors. You’ll want to take them with a grain of salt. The 6.6-inch display is expected to be an OLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400. This makes it a 1080+ display, and it’s expected to be HDR-compatible and run at 144Hz.

As for the internals, the ThinkPhone By Motorola is expected to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. That’s a few steps behind the soon-to-come Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. However, users will still have a powerful experience.

This processor is expected to be backed up by up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. We don’t know when this phone will launch, but rumors say that it will be officially announced during CES in early 2023.
