The homegrown carmaker Mahindra has been putting efforts to capture compact-size SUVs in the Indian market. To rule the segment, the company is gearing up to introduce the XUV300 facelift. Ahead of the official launch, the vehicle has been spotted during the testing phase, and revealed some of the key features.

Going by the leaked images, the test mule was spotted fully covered in heavy camouflage. Despite this, the vehicle clearly can be seen flaunting a proper LED headlight setup, and fog lamps, which are placed right below the LED DRLs. The vehicle was spied having aggressive grills. However, the design patterns are still under suspension as it was not visible in the spy images.

Some reports also suggested that it might come with multiple safety features including ADAS. However, the speculations are yet to be given a green signal by the carmaker. Apart from this, the brand seems like not has invested much effort into the wheels as it flaunts a similar design as the current model. The updated XUV300 is likely to continue to run on a 16-inch wheels setup. While the top model can feature larger 17-inch units, slightly with some different designs.

Talking about the power figures, it will continue to power the same 1.2L 3-cyl turbo petrol and 1.5L 4-cyl turbo diesel engine options. The former units will generate a max power of 110 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. While the latter one will churn out a max output of 129 bhp and 230Nm of peak torque. The petrol powerhouse will be equipped with a 6MT gearbox.
