  • New Motorola smartphones with the model numbers XT2403-1, XT2403-2, XT2403-4, and XT2403-5 have been spotted on the FCC certification website.
  • Meanwhile, the same model XT2403-1 along with a new XT2431-1 model have appeared on the BIS certification. There’s no word on what the latter model could be.
  • The model numbers XT2403-1 to XT2403-6 are likely to be different variants of the same Motorola Edge 50 / Edge 50 Pro phone.
  • The model number XT2403-2 smartphone comes with E-SIM support.
  • The model number XT2403-2 also appears on the IMEI database with the codename “Macan24“. Tipster Evan Glass recently shared that the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is codenamed “Macan,” which hints that the FCC and BIS entries could be the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. 
  • Motorola has also registered a 50W wireless charger (model number MW-02), wired chargers up to 125W (model numbers MC-1250 to MC-1258), and a 4,500mAh battery (model number QM45) on the TUV Rheinland website. 
  • Unfortunately, the listings do not reveal any other additional information regarding the smartphones.

According to a recent leak, Motorola will launch a smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in the second quarter of 2024. There is no official confirmation, but there’s a good chance that Motorola might launch the Moto X50 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in China. It is speculated that the same device might be rebranded as the Moto Edge 50 Pro for the global market.
