Newly leaked Nothing Phone 2a renders show slightly different design elements

0 17

Old vs new Nothing Phone (2a) renders (leaked)

  • The new Phone (2a) renders leaked by a Nothing community member Greg2024 show the phone in a dark grey and a white colour. However, the dark grey colour here looks dark blueish grey (hex code: #1d1e21). Meanwhile, the previously leaked renders have a very dark grey colour with hex code #353535.
  • Even the red square looks darker in the new one.
  • There are no dark cutouts on the back side in this image like the old one. Agreed these are minor things, but we wonder which rendition will make the final cut.

  • Besides these differences, in both versions, the Phone (2a) appears to have a horizontal dual rear camera setup housed in a round island. There are three small LED strips around this.
  • The Glyph interface doesn’t branch to the bottom half of the phone’s back. There is a Nothing logo at the bottom left corner.
  • The sides are flat. The volume rocker is on the left side and the power key is on the right. The buttons on the white model could have a contrasting black/grey colour
  • The display is also flat with thin bezels and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

Nothing Phone (2a) specifications (expected)

  • Display: The Phone (2a) could sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
  • Cameras: On the back, there could be a 50MP ISOCELL S5KG9 sensor as the leader (with OIS) along with a 50MP ultrawide snapper. On the front, we are expecting a 32MP camera.

  • Software: It could boot Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.5 custom skin on top.
  • Processor: Under the hood, the phone could be running on MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC.
  • Memory: The performance could be bolstered by 8/12GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage and even 8GB of virtual RAM support.
  • Charging: It could support 45W fast charging speed. The battery details aren’t out.
