The Nothing Phone (1) has two cameras on the back. The company revealed a ton of information about the device, but it never confirmed will the second camera be ultrawide or not. Well, that just happened. Nothing confirmed that the secondary camera on the back of the Nothing Phone (1) is, indeed, an ultrawide camera.

Ultrawide camera for the Nothing Phone (1) has been confirmed

The company confirmed this in its latest video on YouTube. This is the third video in the series of making the Nothing Phone (1), a documentary of sorts. It’s also a black and white video, just like the previous two.

If you’re interested, that video is embedded below the article. The confirmation for the ultrawide camera comes at around the 5:04 mark. The narrator explains how the two cameras on the back are being tested. She says: “We check the rear camera and the wide camera as well”, obviously pertaining to an ultrawide unit.

The Nothing Phone (1) will finally become official on July 12. The company has been sharing information about the device for a long time now, while the phone also leaked quite a few times.

Nothing has purposely been hyping up this phone, so the expectations are high. The device definitely does look unique, though. It has a see-through backplate, uniform bezels, notification LEDs on the back, and more.

The device will include a 120Hz display, 45W charging, and Android 12

The Snapdragon 778G+ will fuel the device, while the phone is tipped to arrive in both 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. A 6.55-inch fullHD+ flat display has been tipped to be included, while that display will include a 120Hz refresh rate.

Android 12 will come pre-installed on the phone, while 45W wired and 15W charging will also be supported. Nothing will include its own Android OS and launcher on this phone, and based on what we’ve seen thus far, it will look quite interesting, while pre-installed Nothing apps will also have a unique design.
