The Nothing Phone (2) launch is right around the corner. The phone will launch on July 11, and as we’re waiting for that to happen, more info leaked. The Nothing Phone (2) will borrow the OnePlus 11’s main camera sensor, it seems.

The Nothing Phone (2) will utilize the same main camera sensor as the OnePlus 11

Based on the information shared by Kamila Wojciechowska, a tipster, the Nothing Phone (2) will feature a 50-megapixel main camera, with Sony’s IMX890 sensor. The OnePlus 11 is not the only who used this sensor, many other phones have, actually.

The tipster also revealed that the Samsung JN1 sensor will be used for the ultrawide camera. That is the same sensor that Nothing used on the first-gen model… for the ultrawide camera. It’s also a 50-megapixel sensor, and on the Phone (1) it offered a 114-degree FoV. That may change on the Nothing Phone (2), we’ll have to wait and see.

The Nothing Phone (2) will also include a 32-megapixel selfie camera (Sony’s IMX615 sensor). In addition to revealing the camera info, Kamila also shared some display-related details.

The device will include an LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate

According to this info, the Nothing Phone (2) will utilize a fullHD+ (2412 x 1080) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will use a panel from Visinox, and that panel supports low-power modes at 1Hz, 10Hz, 24Hz, and 30Hz. It will be an LTPO display.

The last piece of information that he shared relates to the fingerprint scanner. The Nothing Phone (1) will have an optical, under-display fingerprint scanner provided by Goodix.

We already know what the phone will look like, thanks to leaked renders, and a semi-official hands-on video. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will fuel this phone, and the device will have a slightly larger display.

It will also arrive with improved Glyph lights on the back, and a curved backplate this time around. Check out our preview if you’d like to know more.
