Maruti Suzuki Swift modified to look like the ‘Swift Sport’; Gets a unique yellow paint scheme, 17-inch low profile tyres; suspension lowering kit and more.

Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the best-selling hatchbacks in the Indian market and has been ruling the segment since its arrival. The 3rd gen model received a minor mid-life update in the year 2021 which added a few cosmetic tweaks along with an updated powertrain. Selling in extremely high numbers, the Swift is quite a common vehicle in the country.

Being very modification friendly, we have seen owners experimenting with hatchback’s styling to make it stand out of crowd. So today we have come across a very unique Swift which is modified to look like its performance-oriented sibling sold overseas, the ‘Swift Sport’. The yellow paint scheme, lowered suspension and massive alloy wheels sing loudly about the time and efforts put in by the Instagram user ‘dilshan_dn’.

Maruti Suzuki Modified Swift ‘Sport’: Details

The most evident change to the hatchback is its new Champion Yellow 4 ZFT paint job, inspired by the Swift Sport. Along with this, the car has been fully dechromed by vinyl wrapping the parts in a black finish. The Swift Sport kit has been installed on the hatchback which is made of special ABS plastic and includes front and rear custom skid plates finished in gloss black. The overall yellow and black combination is coming out in full symphony and makes a case for itself. Other major additions to the hatchback include a rear spoiler, after-market LED headlamps, a dual muffler design at the rear, tinted glass and more.

Mechanical modifications on board the Swift include a custom lowering suspension kit which makes the hatchback stick to the ground. The overall appearance is further enhanced by 17-inch MOMO Italy gloss black alloy wheels. These are shod with 215/45 R17 low-profile Yokohama Advan Sport high-performance tyres stickered with white lettering. The changes inside the cabin are very subtle with a custom paint job. With all the modifications, the owner has managed to replicate the appearance of the Swift Sport and the hatchback really looks the part.

It comes powered by a 1.2-litre K12C dual jet dual VVT petrol engine churning out 90 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The claimed fuel efficiency of Swift stands at 23.20 kmpl for manual and 23.76 for automatic transmission.
