The OnePlus 11 got announced in China today. The global model will be coming on February 7. It will be basically identical to the Chinese one, with global software, and possibly different RAM + storage combos. Therefore, we know exactly what to expect thanks to this launch.
Having said that, we talked about the phone’s specs in the announcement, but we did not delve into the details. In this article, we’ll do just that, take a closer look at the phone’s spec sheet.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 fuels the phone, while LPDDR5X RAM & UFS 4.0 storage are included
First and foremost, the SoC. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 fuels the OnePlus 11. That is the most powerful offering by Qualcomm, and a chip that many flagships will use this year. OnePlus coupled that with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage. Also the latest and greatest on the market.
The OnePlus 11 comes in 12GB and 16GB RAM flavors. The 12GB RAM model is coupled with 256GB of storage. The 16GB RAM model of the device comes with either 256GB or 512GB of storage. The storage is not expandable, by the way.
It has a large LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display
A 6.7-inch QHD+ (3216 x 1440) AMOLED display sits on the front of the phone. That display is curved, it has really thin bezels around it, and a display camera hole in the top-left corner. We’re looking at a 20.1:9 aspect ratio here, and this is an LTPO 3.0 display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The phone has a screen-to-body ratio of 92.7%, and we’re looking at a PPI of 525 here. OnePlus opted for Samsung’s panel here, by the way, which can go from 1-120Hz. It goes up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness. It does support HDR10+ content, and has Dolby Vision support. AOD functionality is also included. The display is protected by the Gorilla Glass 7.
100W wired charging is supported, but there’s no wireless charging here
A 5,000mAh battery sits on the inside of this phone. The OnePlus 11 supports 100W wired charging, and it comes with a 100W charger. What is surprising, however, is that it does not support wireless charging, at all. At least it was left out of the official materials and official spec sheet.
A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX890 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 84-degree FoV, 6P lens, OIS, PDAF) sits on the back. That camera is supported by a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera (Sony’s IMX581 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 115-degree FoV, 6P lens, 3.5cm macro shooting), and a 32-megapixel telephoto unit (Sony’s IMX709 sensor, 2x optical zoom, f/2.0 aperture, 49-degree FoV, 6P lens). This camera system can record 8K video up to 24 FPS, and 4K video up to 60 FPS. The Hasselblad XPAN mode is included.
Android 13 comes pre-installed, while Bluetooth 5.3 is supported
On the front side of the device, you’ll find a 16-megapixel camera (f/2.4 aperture, 82-degree FoV, 5P lens). Android 13 comes pre-installed with OnePlus’ ColorOS 13 on top of it. OxygenOS 13 will be included on the global version.
The phone comes equipped with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and it supports 5G connectivity. Bluetooth 5.3 is also supported here, and there are two stereo super linear speakers included too. Dolby Atmos support is included as well. An optical in-display fingerprint scanner is once again implemented, by the way. There are also two SIM card slots (2x nano SIM) included here.

Do note that those color names are based on Google’s translation from the Chinese language. It’s possible the two models will be called Matte Black and Glossy Green globally.
