We already know that the device will use a BOE panel that will come equipped with a 2K resolution and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness. The tipster has additionally shared that the flagship will feature a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

One of the leaked hands-on images shows that the OnePlus 12 supports up to QHD+ (3168×1440) resolution. Another image shows the display brightness going as high as 1722 nits through the manual slider. The phone can deliver up to 4,500 nits through auto mode under peak sunlight.

Additionally, this week’s leak reveals that the OnePlus 12 comes with an average Just Noticeable Color Difference (JNCD) and 2,160Hz PWM Dimming for improved eye protection. To recall, the Honor 90 was launched earlier this year with a higher 3,840Hz PWM Dimming technology. OnePlus China’s president Li Jie also revealed that the OnePlus 12 has a DisplayMate A+ certification.

For comparison, the OnePlus 11 offers a 6.7-inch QHD+ Super Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO 3.0 technology. The device has up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. Going by the leaked display specifications, the OnePlus 12 will look to offer a sharper and brighter screen with improved screen flicker protection.

OnePlus 12 specifications will also include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a triple camera system that includes a 64MP telephoto lens, up to 24GB of RAM, a 5,400mAh battery with 100W fast charging support, 50W wireless charging, and a 32MP selfie camera, among other things. OnePlus 12’s price and official specifications will be revealed in China on December 5th.
