- Liu announced on the OnePlus community forum an update for whoever purchased the OnePlus 12R 256GB variant. Since none of the OnePlus 12R variants have UFS 4.0 as initially announced, the company is offering a full refund.
- With UFS 4.0, you get an improved performance overall with faster app launches, data access, and saving files on your phone. Both OnePlus 12R 128GB and 256GB variants come with UFS 3.1 storage.
- If you’re not happy with the fact that your OnePlus 12R 256GB variant has UFS 3.1 instead of UFS 4.0 then you can return the device and get a full refund until March 16th.
- You can initiate a return and refund process by contacting the OnePlus customer service.
- Liu adds that the OnePlus 12R still “lives up to the high expectations you have of our devices and that you will love it when you try it.”
The refund process is now live globally so even those in India can return the OnePlus 12R by contacting the official customer service. Here, OnePlus 12R starts at Rs 39,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 16GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 45,999.
