Pinned Shortcuts App Helps You Declutter Your Homescreen

0 77

Pinned Shortcuts is a simple, and yet really useful app that I recently stumbled upon. This is a brand new app, by the way, it launched last month. This app helps you declutter your homescreen, and if you like customization, you may be interested.

So, what exactly does it do? Well, it’s really simple, it allows you to create shortcuts within an app icon. You can place a Pinned Shortcuts app on your homescreen, and assign up to 4 shortcuts to it.

By long-pressing on the app icon, those shortcuts will pop up for you to access. If you opt to download an app called ‘Shortcut Maker’, you can basically supercharge this app.

By using shortcut maker, you can create shortcuts to websites, documents, specific settings, and much more. That app integrated with Pinned Shortcuts brilliantly, and if you’d like to take full advantage of this application, getting it may not be a bad idea.

It can be used instead of a folder, but also be much more than that

That is basically all it does. Some of you may find it to be extremely useful, though. It can help you declutter your homescreen, as you can pin four shortcuts to it, without creating a folder.

Once you set everything app, all you need to do in order to get it to work is long press on the app icon in your app drawer, and drag and drop it onto your homescreen, wherever you want it to sit.

You can also opt between light and dark modes in the app, or allow it to adapt to your system settings. This application is completely free to use. You won’t find any ads on the inside, nor are there in-app purchases.

We’ve included some official screenshots in the gallery below. If you’re interested in checking out this application, tap the link/button below. That link will redirect you to the app’s Play Store listing.
