The device is expected to be named POCO M6 Pro 5G when it becomes available in India. However, there is currently no information about whether there will be a global variant of the device.

Another model number 23076RN4BI found in the BIS database is believed to belong to the Redmi 12 5G. Reports suggest that this phone will not only be released in India but also in other markets. As per reports, it appears that the POCO M6 Pro 5G and the Redmi 12 5G could be rebranded versions of the Redmi Note 12R, which was recently launched in China. This corroborates recent reports that also indicated the Redmi Note 12R will be rebranded as POCO M6 Pro 5G in India.

On the other hand, POCO India head, Himanshu Tandon, has teased the launch of the upcoming 6-numbered phone via Twitter.
