Porsche Design HONOR Magic6 RSR is coming next month

HONOR has confirmed that the very next Porsche Design phone will launch next month. To be more precise, the Porsche Design HONOR Magic6 RSR is coming next month, in March.

HONOR confirmed as much via an official teaser video on YouTube. That video is embedded below the article, in case you’re interested. That video is short and it doesn’t reveal much, but… let’s take a closer look.

The Porsche Design HONOR Magic6 RSR is coming next month, video teaser appears

Throughout the video, HONOR uses a hexagonal shape, which actually reminds us of a honeycomb, as HONOR uses a ton of them one next to the other. It actually does look like a honeycomb.

At one point in the video, we also see what seems to be a camera island outline, and it has a hexagonal shape, with the pointy side up and down. If we had to guess, we’d say that’s the outline of the phone’s camera, and the backplate could have a honeycomb pattern on it.

It just remains to be seen whether HONOR will use something along the lines of vegan leather on the back, or will we get glass with a pattern on it. We’re only guessing at this point, based on this video, of course.

Its camera system will support 100x zoom

Another detail that was revealed in the video is that the phone’s camera system will support 100x zoom. That is expected, as the same is the case with the HONOR Magic6 Pro. The two phones will likely have identical camera setups.

Speaking of which, HONOR announced the HONOR Magic6 Pro for global markets at MWC 2024 yesterday. The company also showed off the Porsche Design HONOR Magic V2 RSR for global consumers, along with some other devices.

The Porsche Design HONOR Magic6 RSR will become the second product that the two companies have cooperated on. The first one was very well-received, based on initial reactions, so let’s see what will this one have to offer.
