Porsche India Achieves Best-Ever Sales in India, Sold 914 Units in 2023

With decent sales last year, Porsche successfully witnessed a business growth of 17 percent, which is higher compared to CY2021.

The luxury carmaker Porsche, which ended 2023 with positive sales figures, has reported the highest-ever sales in the Indian market. It has been reported that the German brand has sold more than 900 units in the country and boosted its overall profit margin.

Porsche India Sales Growth

With decent sales last year, Porsche successfully witnessed a business growth of 17 percent, which is higher compared to CY2021, where it managed to gain only 64 percent. The report says the company has retailed around 775 vehicles in 2022.

Amid this, few performance-oriented cars have contributed well to overall sales. As per the details shared by the brand, Porsche sold over 113 units of Taycan EVs, while 911 model sales stood at 65 units only.

Speaking about the same, the company’s director in India, Manolito Vujicic said, “2023 was another strong year for Porsche India, where sales of every model played a significant factor in our encouraging result. It sets a good benchmark for 2024, which will see several new products being launched as well as further expansion of our retail network.”

Newly Added Model in India

Meanwhile, Porsche has been making efforts to improve its lineup. To offer a wide range of options to the target audience, the company has launched the Macan EV in India.

The vehicle has been introduced in two variants- Macan 4 and Macan Turbo, featuring a starting price of Rs 1.65 crore (ex-showroom). Both vehicles have been equipped with robust technology, delivering a max power of 402 BHP and 630 BHP respectively.

As far as the range is concerned, the Macan 4 can offer a claimed range of 613 km on single charge, while the top model (turbo) is capable of providing 591 km on a full top-up.
