Rare pictures of the supercar that the actor once owned

The popular Bollywood star, John Abraham, known for his dashing looks and acting in hit movies like “Force” and “Dhoom,” is also a huge automotive buff. He is known for his passion for motorcycles and he owns a vast collection of multiple expensive superbikes. Although he also loves cars and has a unique taste in them. Over the years, the actor has owned some amazing cars, and one of the biggest highlights of his garage was a Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2. At some point, he sold this car and bought another supercar – an R34 Nissan GT-R. Finally, after a few years, the images of his ex-car have once again surfaced on the internet.

The pictures of John Abraham’s ex-Lamborghini Gallardo have been shared on Instagram via Car Crazy India on their official page. The caption of the picture revealed that the car was sold by the actor and was replaced by a Nissan R35 GTR. From the location of the picture, it was also noted that it currently resides in Dehradun, Uttrakhand. The actor bought this Lamborghini brand new from the showroom in Mumbai. He opted for a stealthy yet classy shade of Nero Noctis, which is Lamborghini’s special Black paint code.

The actor has been seen around in this particular Lamborghini Gallardo a few times before, and he famously once drove this car on camera with Autocar India. In the video, he explained that he went for 550-2, which was the rear-wheel-drive model instead of the all-wheel-drive model because he loved the driving experience of having a tail happy car. The car drew its power from a 5.2-liter V-10 engine that churned out 552 bhp of power (hence the 550 moniker) with rear-wheel drive and came mated to a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

As mentioned above, the actor then replaced this supercar with another popular supercar, the Nissan R35 GTR. This new supercar is also finished in a stunning shade of black and is currently still a part of John Abraham’s garage. The Nissan GTR is powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that outputs a maximum power of 562 bhp and a peak torque of 637 Nm.

Like we stated above, the actor is a serious bike enthusiast and most recently also took delivery of a 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa. John chose the 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa in the Metallic Mat Sword and Candy Daring Red. Suzuki Hayabusa is made in India and is imported as a Completely Knocked Down unit (CKD). In addition to this newest superbike, John also has a vast collection of superbikes. His collection includes Yamaha V-MAX, Honda CBR1000RR-R, Yamaha YZF-R1, Ducati Panigale, MV Agusta F3 800, and a KTM 390 Duke, among others. He also owns a BMW S1000RR, an Aprilia RSV4 RF, a Ducati Diavel, a Suzuki GSX-1000R, a Suzuki Hayabusa, and a few other bikes.

Furthermore, he also has a number of normal, affordable motorbikes as well as personalized bikes. Yamaha RD350, KTM 390 Duke, Rajputana Customs Lightfoot, Bull City Customs Akuma, Yahama FZ V2, and a few others are among them. John Abraham served as Yamaha India’s brand ambassador and appeared in the country’s first superbike film, Dhoom.
