Realme 12 Pro series is launching in India on January 29th, according to a leak by tipster Mukul Sharma. It’s not confirmed if the launch date is official but a teaser image along with the said date has been shared as well. Now all we have to do is wait for the official announcement, which should take place anytime soon. 

Realme 12+ 5G in the works 

The tipster adds that there’s a Realme 12+ 5G as well that was spotted on Malaysia’s certification site. Realme 12+ 5G is said to feature a dual-camera setup with a 64MP primary camera and an 8MP secondary camera. It will also house a 16MP front camera, and 67W fast charging support. This looks like a budget model in the series, and it could arrive later. 

Realme 12 Pro series: what we know so far

Realme has been teasing its upcoming phones but haven’t revealed much as yet. It’s only given us a teaser revealing the phone’s back design that has a leather finish, and a circular camera module. It’s also coming in a ‘Submarine Blue’ colour option. Realme 12 Pro is also confirmed to feature the largest OV64B periscope telephoto sensor with a 1/2-inch image sensor.

As for its specs, here’s what to expect from the Realme 12 Pro series.

  • Display: Realme 12 Pro is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 2412×1080 pixel resolution.
  • Processor: Realme 12 Pro+ is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. 
  • RAM and storage: Both phones are expected to launch in four variants of 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB.
  • Realme 12 Pro cameras: Realme 12 Pro has been listed with a 50MP primary camera, a 32MP secondary lens, and an 8MP sensor. For selfies, it will house a 16MP front camera.
  • Realme 12 Pro+ cameras: As for the Realme 12 Pro+, it will be a 64MP primary camera, a 50MP secondary lens, an 8MP camera, and a 32MP front camera.
  • Battery: Both phones are listed with the same 4,880mAh battery.
