Realme launched the Thor: Love and Thunder edition of the GT Neo 3 series and a less expensive model — the GT Neo 3T — under the Realme GT Neo 3 lineup in India. The Chinese smartphone maker is reportedly working on the device that will succeed the GT Neo 3 series. According to a report by GizmoChina, the upcoming smartphone can be the next-generation GT Neo-series phone and is rumoured to be named Realme GT Neo 4.

The report mentions that a tipster named Digital Chat Station has revealed some of the key specifications of the Realme GT Neo 4 phone on Weibo. The tipster hasn’t confirmed the name of the smartphone and the upcoming handset is likely to compete with the Redmi K60 device. Chinese regulatory body 3C has approved Redmi K60 and is expected to launch in China by January 2023.

The Realme GT Neo 4 smartphone is expected to sport a flat screen that might include an OLED display panel that will support 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The report also mentions that the upcoming device is rumoured to come powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. However, the report didn’t mention the RAM and storage options that will be available for the handset.

The upcoming Realme device will also pack a battery unit with more than 4500mAh capacity and is likely to offer 100W wired charging. More details about the smartphone’s camera and other specifications are expected to arrive in the coming days.
