Red Dead Redemption 2 Actor Is “Certain” Red Dead 3 Will Happen

0 20

Even though Rockstar just released its debut trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, fans have already started to speculate what the studio might be working on next. Roger Clark, the voice of Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, further ignited the conversation after sharing that he is “certain” that Red Dead 3 will one day be made. However, this doesn’t mean fans should expect it anytime soon–or for Clark to be involved in the project.

The news comes from a series of X/Twitter posts by Clark. While the conversation was originally about the fate of GTA Online following GTA 6’s announcement, it didn’t take long for a fan to ask Clark if he knew anything about the future of Red Dead 3. Clark had this to say:

“I’m certain we will see RDR3 one day. When that will be – I have absolutely no idea. Don’t count on Arthur’s involvement either. His story has been told, I feel.”

Rockstar has yet to officially confirm if a new entry in its Red Dead series is coming, but with GTA 6 scheduled to be in development until 2025, it will most likely be awhile before we receive an announcement. It’s also worth pointing out that there was a five-year gap between GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, so don’t expect to roam the Wild West again anytime soon.

However, that doesn’t mean Rockstar’s fans have left the wild west behind. Despite being released five years ago, Red Dead Redemption 2 still has an extremely active player base. Last month, the game hit a new player-count peak of 77,000 players.
