The Redmi Note 12 series smartphones have been available in China for quite some time now, and they’ll finally launch internationally. That will happen on March 23, the company has announced.

The Redmi Note 12 series will launch internationally on March 23, finally

To put things into perspective, the Redmi Note 12 series launched in China at the end of October last year. The devices went on sale in early November. We’ve been waiting for their global launch, and it’s finally coming.

It’s worth noting that the devices made their way to India in January, but that was the only other market aside from China that has seen the phones. Now, Xiaomi has announced via its official Twitter handle that the Redmi Note 12 series will be reaching way more markets.

The company is using the “Live vivid” slogan for this launch event. Xiaomi has highlighted 11 PM China time as the launch event time. That translates to 4 PM CET, 3 PM BST, 11 AM EST, and 8 AM PST, as the clocks moved in the US, while the ones in Europe still have not.

The devices will likely be coming to Europe

Now, we refer to this launch event as the international launch event as the devices will likely be making their way to Europe. That means they’ll be available in a ton more markets, aside from China and India.

We presume that all three Redmi Note 12 models will launch in Europe. This means we’ll be getting the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+.

The Redmi Note 12 is different in India than it is in China, and that’s likely the variant that will launch in Europe too. The Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ are identical to their Chinese counterparts.

We presume that the devices will be quite affordable, but we’ll have to wait and see. March your calendars, March 23 is the day.
