The car can reach 0-100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds and has an electronically-limited top speed of 249 km/h. The Model S 100D has a claimed range of 495 km.

One of the unique features of the Model X is its rear doors, which Tesla calls “falcon wings” because they open upwards, similar to gullwing doors.
