One of the biggest names in Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan has been featured on our website several times. Most of the time, it has something to do with his cars. He is usually known for the roles that he has played in over 150 movies. Along with movies, the actor also has a good taste in cars and he has a garage filled with luxury cars and SUVs. One of the most expensive cars in his garage was a Rolls Royce Phantom. It was gifted to him by  Director Vidhu Vinod Chopra as a token of appreciation after the actor completed the movie Eklavya. After using the car for a while, Amitabh sold the car to Yusuf Shariff from Bengaluru. The same car later surfaced in news after Bengaluru RTO had seized the car for tax evasion. The same Rolls Royce is now back on the road and here we have a video of the same.

The video has been uploaded by Spotter India on their YouTube channel. In this video, the Rolls Royce Phantom luxury sedan that was once owned by actor Amitabh Bachchan is seen on the roads of Bengaluru. The actor sold the car to Umrah Developers, a firm which is owned by Yusuf Shariff. After the car was sold to Yusuff Shariff, the car was once inspected by officials. The driver of the vehicle showed fake documents to officers and they immediately seized the vehicle. The insurance of the luxury car had lapsed and the pollution certificate for the car was also missing.

It was not just Rolls Royce that was seized that day. The officers seized other premium cars along with the Rolls Royce and they were all parked at Yelehanka RTO. The Rolls Royce was later released after the owner paid a fine of Rs 5,500. Yusuf Shariff had mentioned that he was not planning to keep the car with himself and that is the reason why he did not transfer the ownership to his name and also not renew the insurance. The incident happened back in 2021 but, the car was once again spotted on the road only in 2022. It is clear from the video that the luxury sedan still has the same fancy number plate that reads MH 02 BB 2.

The video that has now surfaced online shows that the Rolls Royce is being driven through the narrow and congested roads on Bengaluru. The driver even had to reverse the car at few places to make way for other vehicles. When compared to other cars in India, Rolls Royce is huge and driving it through narrow roads is a risky task. One has to be extremely careful while driving it through such roads. It is not clear whether the Rolls Royce is still with Yusuf Shariff or has he sold the car to any other buyer. The car still looks neat in the video. Yusuff Shariff is a prominent scrap dealer from Bengaluru and is known by the name ‘Gujari Babu’ in his business circuits. He purchased profitable properties and machinery from the government in public auctions. He is active in state politics as well.
