Just a few weeks ago at the Motoverse (Rider Mania), Royal Enfield took the covers off of its most limited production bike, the Shotgun 650. At the time of the unveiling, the company announced that only 25 units of this bike will be first offered, and these 25 bikes will be sold via a lucky draw to the attendees of the Motoverse event. Differences between Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650
Overall, the bike shares many of its components with the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. However, there are a number of key differences. One of the main differences is that the Super Meteor 650 is a cruiser motorcycle, while the Shotgun 650 has been introduced as a more sporty Bobber motorcycle. It is based on the concept of “Inspired by custom, for custom.” Other differences on the new bike include a smaller and newer 10-spoke 18-inch alloy wheel on the front, which is a 19-inch wheel on the Super Meteor 650.
The presenter also highlights that, in order to provide a more upright and sporty appearance and stance, the front upside-down USD fork suspension has been shortened by 30mm. Next up, the presenter mentions that the brushed aluminum headlight surrounds have been changed to body-colored ones. He explains that, according to the company, this has been done because it’s harder to offer paint options with such unique finishes. It has now been made smaller and slimmer, and its capacity is 13.8 liters, which is around 1.9 liters smaller.
