Sachin Tendulkar takes Kia Carens for a road trip

Sachin Tendulkar is a sport personality that needs no introduction among people. Along with his passion for cricket, the legend is also known for his love for cars. He has a variety of expensive and exotic cars in his garage. We have featured some of them on our website. Recently Sachin Tendulkar shared a video on his YouTube channel, where he is seen on a road trip in a Kia Carens MPV.

The former cricketer shared the video via his YouTube channel and it has already received over 32,000 views and hundreds of comments. Sachin can be heard saying in the video that they have stopped on Belgaum-Goa highway for a tea. Short breaks on such road trips are actually necessary as the driver and passengers sitting in the car would start feeling tired.

The video shared on social media was taken during one such breaks. Sachin Tendulkar walks up to the shopkeeper and orders tea for himself and people in the Kia Carens. It is not known, whether the Kia Carens seen here in the video belongs to him or to someone from the group. According to reports, Sachin and his family was travelling in one vehicle and his body guards were in another car.

After finishing his tea, Sachin can be seen talking to the locals and also posing for pictures with his fans. Kia Carens is a MPV or recreational vehicle as Kia likes to call it. Kia launched this MPV last year. It is actually based on the same platform as Seltos SUV. It offers three row seats and comes with features like captain seats for rear passengers, AC vents on all three rows, touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster and so on. It is available with three engine options just like Seltos. There is a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5 litre turbo diesel and a 1.4 litre turbo petrol engine option on offer.

He often takes his cars out for drives and is often seen on the streets of Mumbai. The 992 Turbo S is powered by a 3.7 litre flat 6, twin-turbocharged engine that generates 650 Ps and 800 Nm of peak torque. Sachin also owns a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S which gets a Techart Kit. The Techart Kit itself is worth lakhs. The exact details regarding the kit is not available online.

Other than the Porsches, Sachin Tendulkar also owns many other cars in his garage. Former cricketer is the brand ambassador for BMW India and some of his cars are BMWs.
