Samsung is gearing up to launch its new Galaxy S phones, but that doesn’t mean that it’s leaving its mid-range phones in the dust. The company just introduced its Galaxy A14 5G phone during CES. This phone will bring some subdued specs with a really good battery.

The Samsung Galaxy A phones are the next best thing to the S series phones. They range from budget to premium mid-range phones. Android Headlines did a review on the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, and you can read it right here.

The Galaxy A14 5G makes its debut at CES 2023

This phone is going to be a bit lower on the spectrum when it comes to specs, so it’s made to be a more affordable device. The phone will come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD display. It won’t come with any bell whistles, but it does run at 90Hz.

As for the processor, this phone will come with the mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. This processor won’t provide the most power, but it is still a decent performer. This will be backed up by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.

With 64GB of storage, you’ll want to be careful if you typically use a lot of storage. While that’s true, this phone has microSD card expandability. It can be expanded to 1TB.

Looking at the camera, the Galaxy A14 5G will come with a 50MP main camera with an aperture of f/1.8. This camera will be accompanied by a 2MP macro camera (f/2.4) and a depth sensor (f/2.4). Upfront, under the teardrop notch, there’s a 13MP selfie camera.

The main flagship-grade feature of this phone is the battery. The Galaxy A14 5G will come with a large 5000mAh battery. This promises to give this phone amazing battery life. It has 15W charging, so topping it up will definitely take a while. The Galaxy A14 5G will come black, and it’ll have Android 13 running on top of One UI 5 out of the box.
