Samsung Galaxy A12 gets Android 12 (One UI 4) update in the US
A few days ago, the Galaxy A12 started getting the Android 12 update in India. Now, the new version of Android is also available on some carrier networks in the US. Sadly, the update doesn’t bring the September 2022 or even the August 2022 security update.
The Android 12 update for the carrier-locked Galaxy A12 comes with firmware version A125USQU3CVG4 in the US. The update is available on Sprint and T-Mobile’s networks, but we expect it to expand to other markets over the next few days. The July 2022 security patch fixes dozens of privacy and security vulnerabilities.
If you are a Galaxy A12 user in the US with a carrier-locked version, you can now download and install the Android 12 update on your phone by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually.

With this new update, Samsung has improved the UI design and styling, Dark Mode, the styling of widgets, and even the widget picker UI on the Galaxy A12. There are new lock screen widgets and customization options.
