A few days ago, Samsung started teasing the launch of new Galaxy A series smartphones in India. It was expected that the company could unveil the Galaxy A34 5G and the Galaxy A54 5G. However, it looks like the company is launching the Galaxy A14 5G and the Galaxy A23 5G in India on January 18.
While the company still hasn’t revealed the names of the phones it is planning to launch in India next week, it has revealed some of their specifications. The South Korean firm has mentioned 120Hz, triple rear camera, and OIS features on the teaser webpage. Upon digging further, the source code of the webpage reveals mentions of the Galaxy A14 5G and the Galaxy A23 5G. The devices have already been launched in other countries.
Galaxy A14 5G has the Exynos 1330 processor
The Galaxy A14 5G has a 6.6-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It uses the Exynos 1330 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. It runs Android 13-based One UI 5.0 out of the box and will get at least two major Android updates. It has a 50MP primary rear camera, a 2MP depth sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and a 13MP front camera. It has a dual-SIM card slot with 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging.
The phone was announced for American and European markets last week at CES 2023.
