The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics. The chipset is paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. The handset runs on Android 13-based One UI 5.0 custom skin out of the box.

We get the Snapdragon 680 chipset in place of the Exynos 850 SoC on the predecessor. This should improve the performance of the phone. However, the battery department gets a downgrade as the Galaxy M14 4G gets a 5,000mAh battery compared to a 6,000mAh cell on the Galaxy M13 4G. The charging speed is bumped to 25W from 15W.
In place of a 50MP + 5MP + 2MP camera setup, we get a 50MP + 2MP + 2MP setup on the Galaxy M14 4G. There is a 13MP front camera in place of an 8MP unit on the front.
