Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+ with Exynos 2400 benchmarked against Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-based S24 Ultra
Exynos 2400 vs Snapdragon 8 Gen 3: Geekbench 6, AnTuTu and 3DMark
- YouTuber NL Tech ran the test. All three Samsung phones were running pre-release firmware with build number UP1A.231005.007. All of them were at 100 percent charge and at 100 percent brightness level when the benchmarking started. The memory details weren’t revealed though.
- Geekbench 6: In this first test, the Galaxy S24 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has a higher score than the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+. The difference isn’t much in the single-core test while it is noticeable in the multi-core test. In the Geekbench 6 GPU test though, the vanilla S24 outpaced the other two.
- AnTuTu: The overall score is still more on the S24 Ultra with the Snapdragon chip. It has got 1769496 while the Galaxy S24+ has got 1662048 and the standard S24 has 1611665.
- 3DMark Solar Bay: In this stress test, Ray Tracing performance is gauged and the Exynos-backed phones fared better. This could be courtesy of the AMD RDNA 3-based Xclipse 940 GPU inside the Exynos 2400. The thermal performance was better in the Snapdragon phone though.
- 3DMark Wildlife Extreme: In this test, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ were more stable but marginally lost to the S24 Ultra.
