Samsung Galaxy S24 series goes on sale in India: price, specifications, where to buy

Samsung Galaxy S24 series launched officially at the ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event on January 17th. The lineup includes Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. After being available for pre-booking/orders, the flagship phones are now available to purchase in stores in major markets like India, Europe, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, the US and other countries.

The phones will be on sale in India from the Samsung website, offline stores, Amazon, Flipkart and all major e-commerce platforms.

Colours

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra comes in three colours: Titanium Gray (the only option for the 12GB/1TB model), Titanium Violet, and Titanium Black.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus will be available in Cobalt Violet and Onyx Black colours.

The regular Galaxy S24 will also be available in Amber Yellow colour in addition to Cobalt Violet and Onyx Black hues.

Pre-booking offers

Customers pre-booking the Galaxy S24 Ultra and S24 Plus can avail of Rs 22,000 benefits, including Rs 12,000 upgrade bonus and Rs 10,000 storage upgrade.

Customers pre-booking the 256GB version receive the 512GB storage variant as a pre-booking offer. Alternatively, there is also a Rs 5,000 HDFC cashback along with a Rs 5,000 upgrade bonus.

Customers buying the Galaxy S24 will get benefits worth Rs 15,000 (upgrade bonus). Alternatively, customers can avail of Rs 5,000 HDFC cashback and Rs 8000 upgrade bonus for Galaxy S24.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra specifications

Display: 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, up to 2600 nits brightness, Gorilla Armor protection, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper.
Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with Adreno GPU.
RAM and storage: 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB storage.
Battery: 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired, 15W wireless charging support, and Wireless PowerShare.
Cameras: 200MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, OIS, and Super Clear Lens, a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide lens. There is a 12MP front camera for selfies and video chats.
Software: Android 14-based One UI 6.1.

Display: The Galaxy S24 Plus has a 6.7-inch display. While the Galaxy S24 has a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Processor: The phones are powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset in India.
RAM and storage: 8GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. The Galaxy S24+ gets up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Cameras: 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, Dual Pixel autofocus and OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS. There is a 12MP selfie camera.
Battery, charging: The Galaxy S24 packs a 4,000mAh battery. On the other hand, the Galaxy S24+ gets a 4,900mAh unit.
Connectivity: 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6e, NFC, IP68 rating, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync and UWB.
