The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is now getting the January 2024 security update in India, bearing firmware version F721BXXS4EWL5. The update has a download size of 386.87MB, which means you may probably download it even using a cellular connection. Regardless, the update only includes security fixes found in the previous software version. Samsung is yet to reveal exactly which security flaws have been fixed in its latest update, and we expect that information to go live within this week.

If you have a Galaxy Z Flip 4 in India, you can now check for the new update on your phone. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. There is also an option to download the new firmware file and flash it manually. However, to do that, you need to be well-versed with the manual firmware flashing process using Odin. You would also need to have access to a computer running Windows operating system.
