Samsung Gaming Hub is now available for 2022 smart TVs and monitors

Samsung unveiled its game platform at CES 2022, and after teasing us with a release “towards the end of the summer” and an Xbox partnership, the company’s brand-new Gaming Hub service went live moments ago on select Samsung TV and monitor models.
The Gaming Hub platform is now rolling out in the United States, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Brazil, and South Korea. The service is compatible with select display models, including the 2022 Neo QLED TV series and the 2022 Smart Monitor series.
Cloud gaming without specialized hardware
As the name implies, Samsung’s new platform for gamers acts as a digital hub where different gaming and streaming services, paid or free, coexist.
The Gaming Hub offers access to gaming services such as Xbox, NVIDIA GeForce Now, Google Stadia, Utomik, and soon Amazon Luna. The platform also offers access to video and music streaming services like Twitch, YouTube, and Spotify.
The Xbox partnership was announced recently. Microsoft’s platform should be available from today onward (availability varying by market), and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate customers on Samsung smart TVs get access to dozens of quality cloud-based games. Non-members can play Fortnite for free.
Gaming Hub is now live across the Samsung 2022 smart TV and Smart Monitor lineups, both of which boast faster decoding and optimized buffer control technology, leading to a 30% reduction in input lag compared to the 2021 models.
