We’ve been following countless rumors surrounding the next premium mid-range phone from Samsung. However, the rumors stop here. The Galaxy A54 5G is now official, and this phone aims to offer a great experience at an affordable price.

Android Headlines did a review of the Galaxy A53 5G, and it was a good phone. It has a great display, amazing speakers, and up-to-date One UI software. If you’re interested in checking out that phone, you can check out the full review here.

The Galaxy A54 5G specs

The Galaxy A phones sit as the next best thing compared to the S series of phones. These phones offer a near-flagship experience that can rival other flagship phones in the market.

The Galaxy A54 5G spots a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display on the Galaxy A53 5G was amazing, so you can expect much of the same here.

Moving onto the internals, this phone uses Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 SoC. That’s backed up by 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of onboard storage. That’s definitely enough power to get some serious work done considering that the Galaxy S22 starts off with 8GB of RAM.

Moving onto the camera, this is another area where the Galaxy A53 5G did a good job. The Galaxy A54 5G has a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main camera. That’s accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 5MP macro camera. That’s a solid camera package, and you should get some great results.

As for the battery and charging, Samsung is no stranger to putting large batteries in its mid-range phones. This phone comes with a large 5000mAh battery. That will get you more than a day of moderate use. When it’s time to charge it, you can do so with 25W of power. Those are the same battery specs for the Galaxy S23.

Other specs include IP67 water and dust resistance, an under-display fingerprint scanner, expandable storage, and the latest version of OneUI. If you’re looking to pick up this phone, it starts at $449.99. Pre-orders start on March 30th.
