0 23

Samsung is on a roll today. Over the past few hours, the company has released the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 stable update to the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 series. That’s six different device models, nine if you count 4G LTE and 5G variants separately. It has now added a few more to the party. The Galaxy Note 20 series is also picking up the big Android update.

The Android 13 update is now available for the Galaxy Note 20 series

The Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra are receiving the Android 13 update in Europe. But, unlike the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 series, the rollout is limited to 5G models in Switzerland (via). The new firmware version for the duo in the region is N98*BXXU5GVJE. This build number may vary slightly for the 4G LTE models of the last Note-branded phones from Samsung. Users in other markets such as the US may also receive the big Android update on their Galaxy Note 20 5G and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 55G with a different firmware version.

Nonetheless, if you’re one of those using the iconic Galaxy Note phones, you should get to taste Android 13 and One UI 5.0 very soon if you haven’t already. This update comes with the October security patch. But more importantly, there are tons of new features, changes, and improvements across the system.

It begins with minor UI tweaks that add to the visual appeal. Improved animations ensure a smoother transition between two interfaces, enabling a better user experience. Samsung has also made app icons bolder for aesthetic purposes and added new customization options.

On the functionality side of things, Bixby Routines have been improved to better assist you in your everyday chores. Smart widgets and new gestures further add to your productivity and multitasking. Samsung has also added new camera tools and editing features to allow you to capture and produce a shot the way you want it. Last but not least, the Korean firm has improved its stock apps to enable better functionality on Android 13.

Samsung will continue to release these updates in the coming days

Samsung has kicked off the first full week of November with Android 13 updates for more than ten Galaxy smartphone models. And it will not stop there. The company will continue to push these updates in the coming days. It has dozens more models lined up for the Android 13 update, including the newly released Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. We will let you know when these updates arrive.
