See the First Look at Bon Jovi Docuseries ‘Thank You, Goodnight’

Just weeks after Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story was announced, Hulu has shared the teaser and release date for the four-part docuseries about the Rock Hall-inducted hitmakers.

In just 30 seconds, the first look touches on all the drama in Jovi land over the band’s 40-year career: “War” between bandmates, the “out of control” partying that followed their fame, guitarist Richie Sambora’s exit, Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal injury, and much more.

Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story joins the band in February 2022 and follows their real time journey with its fits and starts as they attempt to chart out their future. As thrilling as the story of a once-in-a-lifetime talent is, it is even more rare that a legend like Jon Bon Jovi lets the world into his most vulnerable moments while he’s still living them,” Hulu said of the docuseries, which premieres April 26 on the streaming service.

“Forty years of personal videos, unreleased early demos, original lyrics and never-before-seen photos that chronicle the journey from Jersey Shore clubs to the biggest stages on the planet.”

The docuseries, directed by Gotham Chopra, also features interviews with all of the group’s original members, including Sambora, who left the band in 2013.

“There’s a documentary that’s being done about the band and stuff that I’ve participated in, and people want to come see us play. It’s going to make everybody happy,” the guitarist told People in 2023. “I mean, essentially, that’s why you do it at this point.”

Jon Bon Jovi was recently feted at the 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year gala during Grammy week, with artists like Bruce Springsteen, Jelly Roll, Jason Isbell, Shania Twain, and many more paying tribute to the New Jersey rocker and his music.
