See Whether You Played Zelda Or Mario More With Nintendo’s Switch Year-In-Review Website

0 26

Nintendo has joined the end-of-year party with a website detailing your most-played Switch games, total hours spent playing titles on the system, and more. Called the Switch Year in Review, the wrap-up offers personalized stats and might settle which game consumed more of 2023 for you–The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom or Super Mario Bros. Wonder?

The Switch Year in Review follows in the footsteps of the PlayStation Wrap-Up for 2023 and Xbox’s own Year in Review tool. Sony showcases trophies earned, while Microsoft obviously reveals the amount of achievements unlocked. Nintendo doesn’t have a comparable feature but does break down your favorite genres at the end. The website also reminds you of your first-played game of this year, which might be Metroid Prime Remastered (it was for me).

Now Playing: Super Mario Bros. Wonder Video Review

A monthly breakdown of hours played is also provided by Nintendo’s website, with additional info about which game took up most of your time individually through January, February, etc. The Switch Year in Review even asks what your Game of the Year was for 2023. It might be tough, considering The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Super Mario Bros. Wonder both appeared on GameSpot’s 10 best games of 2023 list.

Looking ahead, Nintendo Switch owners might find themselves playing a couple of remakes to start 2024. Another Code: Recollection kicks things off in January, with Mario vs. Donkey Kong slated to release in February.
