In a bit of exciting news, some Samsung users have reportedly discovered a perk that gets them a year of Disney Plus for free. The perk may give you six months or a year of Disney Plus for free, based on your device. If you have purchased a new Samsung phone this year or in the last few years, then this is a good time to check for your free Disney Plus subscription, courtesy of Samsung.

Samsung Boost is something that is known to offer such perks that Samsung users can take advantage of to get free access to premium app subscriptions. This includes Disney Plus, YouTube Premium, and more. However, the best part that some Samsung users are suggesting is the fact that even if you have redeemed the perk, you can generate a new code that you can use to get a free subscription to another platform.

Only select Samsung Galaxy devices are eligible for this one-year Disney Plus subscription perk

The only catch is that this Samsung perk of a free Disney Plus subscription is only live for users in the UK or Ireland. A user on HotUKDeals said, “I have an S22 Ultra that I received on the day it was released and I have already claimed my year of Disney+ and it has expired a while back. However, by following that link above it has generated a new code and given me another year of Disney+ for free!

The main point here is to note that this deal isn’t available for all Samsung phones. Some users have also reported that they were able to get six months of subscriptions instead of the claimed 1 year. But that depends on your device. Here is the list of eligible devices as per the Samsung page:

However, as noted by Android Authority, some users were able to get the Disney Plus free subscription for a year on their Galaxy S23 device, which isn’t mentioned in this list. If you wish to get the free perk, you need to register for a Samsung account and ensure that your current Disney Plus subscription is canceled or expired for the new code to work.
