Skoda Enyaq iV electric SUV spotted testing at night: Launch soon?
The Czech automaker Skoda is eyeing to enter the increasingly popular electric vehicle segment in India. For this entry, the company is queuing up its fully-electric SUV Enyaq iV, and test mules of this SUV have been spotted on multiple occasions in the country. Most recently, a white Skoda Enyaq iV was spotted testing in a night run where its unique illuminated front grille was seen glowing. The entire car was seen testing without any camouflage. Interestingly, it was the same test mule that was spotted back in August of this year.

In terms of the design, the front fascia of the Skoda Enyaq iV looks extremely sharp and modern and looks distinctively like a Skoda vehicle. It gets sharp body lines on its bonnet, and the front bumper looks aggressive yet classy. Dimensionally, the Enyaq iV measures in at 4,648mm long and 1,877mm wide, and it is slightly smaller than the Skoda Kodiaq.
The side profile of this EV SUV is also very sleek and stylish and continues flaunting the sharp body lines with a sloping roof. It gets massive multispoke alloy wheels that add to its luxury appearance. On the rear, it gets LED taillights and the signature Skoda logo in the middle. The tailgate of the Enyaq iV looks a little smaller. Overall, the Skoda Enyaq iV is a classy-looking vehicle.

This setup is anticipated to produce a maximum of 265 bhp and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 6.9 seconds. Notably, the Enyaq iV’s projected WLTP range is 513 km. Additionally, the car could also be offered with 125 kW DC fast charging.

At the moment, there are no reports that have stated the exact launch date for the Skoda Enyaq iV however, most likely the recent sightings suggest that it could take place next year. Once launched in India the Skoda Enyaq iV will take on the rivals like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 GT. Both of these cars are priced at Rs 45.95 lakh and Rs 60.95 lakh.
