There are a lot of grime shows and events popping up on the calendar this year, including a Rinse takeover at Ministry of Sound next month, so it’s a good thing veterans like Bossman Birdie and So Large are still tirelessly grinding away on new reloadables for the dance. New banger “Bout It X2” sees them pool their resources and it comes with a big, beefy production from Sir Spyro (who also happens to be on deck for said Rinse event).
Spyro, of course, got first play of the tune, debuting it on his show on Friday before the track officially dropped with its visual. Shot by Romael and directed by Adrian Murray Clarke and 31501, the video plays out a bit like a World’s Wildest Police Videos episode: candid camera-type shots of the two spitters as they fly around the city in their trusty transit van, flogging their merch, and dodging the police.
