Star-Lord Soars Into His Debut in Marvel Preview #4, Up for Auction

Star-Lord making his debut in a magazine has always been funny to me. Any Marvel character where that is the case is interesting, as the Marvel Comics magazine format has been completely forgotten over the years. There was a ton of good stuff in those mags, and I have always thought that they should bring that format back. Featuring more mature stories in tone and execution, they were denser reads than the standard floppy fare. I miss them. Star-Lord made his grand entrance in Marvel Preview #4, which has a CGC 9.0 copy taking bids today at Heritage Auctions. As of this writing, it sits at $180. Check it out below.

I often wonder how the MCU fans who don’t read comics react when seeing these comic versions of the characters. How many would see this and pass on it because it is so different from what we got onscreen? Maybe I will start asking people. Go here and get more info on this Star-Lord key, and to place a bid. While there, check out the other books taking bids today as well.
