Why did this happen?
According to reports, sub-inspector Kapil Baliyan from the Phase III police station of Noida was denied entry into the La Residentia society in Greater Noida West. The root cause of this slapping incident has been stated as the denial of entry inside the society. It has been reported that the security guard stopped the sub-inspector from entering the society as his vehicle was not seen with a valid society sticker.
The security guard who was slapped is Kuldeep Singh, and it has been mentioned that he asked the police officer to park his car outside. This was said by him as their society rules mention that any vehicle without the society’s sticker has to be parked outside. However, the cop who rents a flat inside the society got infuriated by this situation and, in his anguish, slapped Kuldeep Singh.
Singh, in his statement, said, “According to rules, no vehicle without a valid sticker is allowed inside the society. I just followed the rules and asked him politely to park his car outside, on which he got infuriated and came out of the car in an inebriated condition and started slapping me. The security guards protested over this.”

Following the incident, it was reported that both the security guard and the sub-inspector reached a mutual agreement. However, soon after the CCTV footage went viral on the internet, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Noida asked for further investigation on this case. The Noida Police has stated that they have opened the enquiry under ACP 2 of Central Noida.
At the moment, there are no reports that mention the details of the investigation going on. There is also no information about the police officer’s suspension. Most likely, the police officer will walk away without any repercussions because of his power.
