Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Gets First Big Discount

0 16

Just a month after its launch, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has received its first substantial discount. The new game from the developers of the Batman Arkham trilogy has received underwhelming reviews since launch, but if you’re still interested in seeing how Rocksteady’s game of supervillains forced to save the day from brainwashed superheroes plays out, you can grab the game and save $20 at either Amazon or Best Buy.

It’s worth noting that the PS5 version of Suicide Squad already sold out once at Amazon today, but it’s now back in stock.

While Suicide Squad does fall short of the standard set by Rocksteady’s previous games, there’s still some fun to be had if you lower your expectations. Each of the current Task Force X members–Captain Boomerang, King Shark, Deadshot, and Harley Quinn–all handle in unique ways and there’s a great loot chase to embark on. While it does lean a bit heavily on live-service ideas, Suicide Squad is still easy to pick up, learn, and experiment with as you discover new meta-builds revolving around the game’s core mechanics.

The first season of Suicide Squad also kicks off this month and adds a new supervillain to the roster, the Joker. More of a vaudevillain with a passion for explosions, this new take on the clown prince of crime comes equipped with a rocket-powered umbrella to help him dash around Metropolis. Rocksteady says that it also aims to give players as much time as they want to grab all the new loot in each season, as the content from previous seasons will always be available to earn, even if you decide to take a brief sabbatical from the game.

For more game deals, don’t miss out on a Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PS5 bundle at Best Buy, Pokemon Legends: Arceus just got a rare discount at Walmart, and this new X-Men arcade cabinet is loaded with several of Capcom’s best Marvel fighting games.
