Sony’s Spider-Man Shows Spin Up Some Interesting Developments

Image: Marvel Comics/Sony AnimationSony’s non-Spider-Man efforts to build its own Marvel universe have been all over the place, but one of the more intriguing additions were individual TV shows for Spider-Man Noir and relative newcomer Silk. While they’re both still a ways off, the two shows may be on opposite ends of the development spectrum: Noir’s show has possibly seen some substantial progress, while Silk’s series may have some bad luck on its hands.io9 Interview: Oscar Isaac Was 'All In' on Moon KnightAccording to

Sony/Marvel Show to Resume Writers Room in January

Image: Helen Chen/Marvel ComicsAll the way back in 2020, it was reported that Sony and Marvel were teaming up to create a TV show for Silk, one of the more recent heroes to spin from Spider-Man’s (Peter Parker’s) supporting cast. In the years since, news on the show has been hard to come by: after an announcement late last year that it was retitled Silk: Spider Society and was headed up by The Walking Dead alum Angela Kang, there’s been pretty much nothing on the show—partly because the WGA strike meant the writers room

Though it’s finished filming, there’s no release date set yet. Image

Sony Pictures, license holders of the Spider-Man (But Technically Spider-Man-Less) Cinematic Universe, has announced that the Webslinger’s extended cast of characters will extend itself to television as rumored back in 2020, beginning with Silk: Spider Society, coming eventually to Prime Video.I personally am a big fan of Silk, who was a fellow student of Peter Parker named Cindy Moon; she attended the same science lab tour as him, got

Who’s Going to Die Before The Walking Dead Ends?

Image: Jace Downs/HBOEzekiel is a nicer, more likable, and less murderous character than Aaron, but he’s an absolute goner. Why? Well, we’ve spent a long time believing he was about to die already, thanks to his throat cancer. Now that it’s been cured, killing Ezekiel would not only be tragic, it would be ironically tragic, and give Carol some pathos as they had a longtime romance. It feels very TWD to kill a character with a new lease on life, so go ahead and say goodbye. Image: Jace Downs/HBOEzekiel is a nicer, more
