Amazon: Ram temple sweets sale: Amazon gets consumer watchdog notice for deceptive practice
The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has sent a show-cause notice to Amazon Seller Services, which runs the ecommerce giant’s India marketplace, over the sale of food products under the name 'Shri Ram Mandir Ayodhya Prasad' on the platform.It has asked Amazon to respond within seven days to the notice dated January 19, “failing which necessary action may be initiated against them under the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019”, the government said in a news release on Friday.Elevate Your Tech…
