M. Night Shyamalan’s Next Movie

Knock at the Cabin is not, in fact a comedy. It’s not even a satire (at least, I don’t think it is...). I’ll admit I was fooled by both the initial cast announcement, the jaunty opening soundtrack, and the kind of absurd mishmash title, complete with ‘broken’ font, that might all point to some kind of tongue-in-cheek reversal of the cabin in the woods slasher genre, but... no. Check out the trailer below.Knock at the Cabin - Official TrailerThe film is M. Night Shyamalan’s newest horror flick, starring Dave Bautista,

Rogue One’s Gary Whitta on His Unconventional New Sci-Fi Gundog

This fall, from the writer of Rogue One, The Book of Eli, and After Earth, a brand new sci-fi adventure is on the way. Set in a future where Earth has been conquered by giant alien mechs, a young woman finds a map that might hold the key to saving humanity. Sounds cool, right? Well, it’s called Gundog but can’t see it in theaters. In fact, you can’t “see” it, period, which is very much by design.“At the beginning of my career, like almost 20 years ago, I would have written Gundog as a spec screenplay,” writer Gary Whitta…

Photo: Emma McIntyre (Getty Images)Quentin Tarantino and Miramax have reportedly buried the hatchet in their dispute over NFT auction excerpts of Pulp Fiction. The quiet resolution brings an end to a legal skirmish that could have had profound implications in determining who gets paid for NFTs based on films if it had gone to trial. The settlement also comes amidst a brutal cryptocurrency downturn that’s all but killed the once seemingly unstoppable NFT hype train. The conflict kicked off last November when Miramax sued

Stallone Superhero Movie on Amazon Prime

Stallone does beat up a lot of kids in Samaritan. Image: MGM/Prime VideoThe biggest problem with Samaritan, a brand new superhero movie starring the one and only Sylvester Stallone, is a lack of identity. That’s oddly fitting since the movie itself is about a young boy trying to figure out the identity of a man who lives in his neighborhood. Is he the long-lost superhero Samaritan? Will the movie Samaritan ever figure out what it wants to be? The answers to those questions are “What do you think?” and “Not really.” But
