NASA’s Webb telescope takes dazzling images of the Pillars of Creation

The Pillars of Creation photographed in 1995 (left) by the Hubble Space Telescope and in 2022 by the James Webb Space Telescope (right).  NASA, ESA, CSA, STScI; Joseph DePasquale (STScI), Anton M. Koekemoer (STScI), Alyssa Pagan (STScI).Despite looking like an AI-generated image of space, the image above and to the right is a photograph of the Pillars of Creation, captured by the James Webb Space Telescope. In a colorful landscape, the photo showcases glimmering stars forming within dense clouds of gas and dust. The

Hubble Captures a Dazzling Globular Cluster

By ESA/Hubble October 9, 2022Hubble Space Telescope image of Terzan 1, a globular cluster that lies about 22,000 light-years from Earth in the constellation Scorpius. Credit: ESA/Hubble & NASA, R. CohenTerzan 1 is a globular cluster located around 22,000 light-years away from Earth in the constellation Scorpius. It is one of 11 globular clusters that were discovered by the Turkish-Armenian astronomer Agop Terzan between 1966 and 1971. This is a time period when he was working in France, based mostly at Lyon…

Photos of ‘frosted cupcake’ clouds on Jupiter look like a dazzling dreamscape

The first 3D renders from NASA’s JunoCam spacecraft have revealed a spectacular phenomenon on Jupiter. The small spacecraft captured data of clouds on the gas giant which, when animated and turned into a 3D image, look like frosting off a cupcake. This week, the renders were revealed at Europlanet Science Congress 2022 in Granada. These first JunoCam 3D renders are a new way to look at the data that Juno has captured. The renders were made using data captured by JunoCam, the visible-light camera onboard…

Big Eyes Coin, Floki Inu, and Shiba Inu Keep Dazzling People in the Cryptoverse

The cryptoverse has seen many new coins come into the limelight, most of them being epic failures. This is the same in the business world, where 90% of businesses fail in their first year, and 90% of the remaining 10% fail within the next five years. For a company to get it right, it needs the perfect timing, the perfect idea, the perfect solution, and the perfect team to carry it out. It’s the same in the cryptoverse. For a crypto project to be successful, it needs to have the perfect timing, the perfect idea,…

NASA just shared this dazzling Hubble image of a glittering star cluster

In celebration of Labor Day this year, NASA shared a new Hubble image of a star cluster on Instagram. The image, which features thousands of stars and galaxies shining brightly, was shared on Monday. The image was captured by Hubble while observing a star cluster in the Large Magellanic Cloud. You need to see this newest Hubble image As I noted above, the image was captured by Hubble while observing a star cluster found within the Large Magellanic Cloud. The Large Magellanic Cloud is a satellite galaxy of…

See James Webb Telescope’s most dazzling photos like never before

Earlier this month, James Webb released some of its most dazzling images yet. Not only that, but NASA also shared the largest image that Webb has taken to date. The image is broken down into four panels, a mosaic of galaxies and celestial objects that Webb zoomed in on. What’s even more astounding is that James Webb and CEERS have finally given us a way to zoom in on the image ourselves. Incredible new James Webb photos show dazzling auroras on Jupiter

Jupiter is a beautiful planet, and one of the most eye-catching that you’ll find within our solar system. The gas giant just has a lot going on. And now, thanks to the power of the James Webb space telescope, we’ve been given a spectacular view of auroras on Jupiter. Additionally, James Webb has captured some amazing images of the planet’s haze and details like never before. Image source: NASA, ESA, CSA, Jupiter ERS Team; image processing by Judy Schmidt.Auroras on Earth are absolutely stunning. And, we were…

Behold James Webb Telescope’s largest and most dazzling image yet

The James Webb space telescope continues to dazzle. After releasing the telescope’s first images in July, NASA and the other agencies behind the new telescope have continued to monitor and observe new galaxies and celestial phenomena. Now, the Cosmic Evolution Early Release Science Study (CEERS) has released James Webb’s largest image to date. The new image is a mosaic that includes multiple pieces of data put together by people working on CEERS. The team is made up of 105 scientists and 19 investigators…

Hubble just captured this dazzling image of a star cluster

The James Webb space telescope may finally be out there collecting data, but its predecessor hasn’t called it quits just yet. In fact, the latest image from the Hubble space telescope includes a mind-blowing star cluster unlike anything we’ve ever seen. The cluster in question is NGC 6638, a cluster contained within the constellation Sagittarius. Hubble’s latest star cluster image is absolutely dazzling Image source: ESA/Hubble & NASA, R. CohenThe new image was captured using Hubble’s Wide Field Camera…

James Webb captured a dazzling photo of a rare galaxy called the Cartwheel Galaxy

The James Webb Space Telescope has captured a new, dazzling image of the Cartwheel Galaxy. This rare ring galaxy is roughly 500 million light-years away in the Sculptor constellation. NASA says the galaxy is “a rare sight.” This new galaxy image does more than just show off its beautiful appearance. It also gives us insight into how it has changed over billions of years. Webb captures impressive image of the Cartwheel Galaxy Image source: NASA, ESA, CSA, STScIThe Cartwheel Galaxy gets its name thanks to…
