A local’s guide to DIA restaurants

Sure, you can hit up a Dunkin Donuts, a Starbucks or a McDonald’s at Denver International Airport — and sometimes it’s traveling that gives us license to be bad like that — but a better option is to try some of Denver’s homegrown food and beverages from local businesses. While these restaurants, coffee shops and breweries don’t actually own or run their airport branches — that is done by large concessionaires — many of them do take an active role in maintaining the quality and consistency of their offerings. Denver airport food from new Colorado restaurants feed DIA travelers

But for 2024, the company’s travel experts have recommended one place in Colorado that should be on every vacationer’s bucket list. Boulder is one of 24 places to land on Fodor’s “Go List” for 2024 and one of just two destinations in the United States. The other is Cannon Beach, Ore. Fodor’s praised Boulder’s accessibility to…

El Tepehuan Mexican restaurant in Englewood to close

Another longtime Denver-area restaurant, this one in Englewood, is closing. The beloved Mexican food spot, El Tepehuan, plans to shutter on Dec. 31 as its owner, Graciela Corral, retires, according to an announcement shared by her son, Miguel Corral. He named it El Tepehuan as an homage…
