Disney is bringing the first two episodes of ‘Andor’ to Hulu and a few TV stations this month

Disney is making one of its best shows of the year more accessible. On Monday, the company announced it would begin airing Andor on ABC, FX, Freeform and Hulu. Starting November 23rd, the expansion will allow those without access to Disney+ to watch the first two episodes of the Tony Gilroy project. That’s just enough to get a sense of Andor’s smart writing, immaculate production and obsession with institutions, but without seeing the conclusion of its initial arc. The announcement comes after the show arguably had its…

If you haven’t watched Andor, the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story prequel series on Disney Plus — and you really should, it’s quite good — Disney will be airing the show’s first two episodes on a few of its other channels over the Thanksgiving holidays, including on linear TV. The Andor episodes will air on ABC, FX, Freeform, and Hulu at varying times and days. For the TV airings, you’ll need to put aside an hour and a half to watch the episodes. On Hulu, the two episodes will be available over two weeks. Here’s the…

The 8 Best And 8 Worst Episodes

The penultimate episode of "Moon Knight" is a drastic change of pace for the show. While these kinds of episodes can often be a slog that slows the whole season's pacing, "Asylum" succeeds in just about every way that it can, elevating it beyond the already fantastic season of "Moon Knight." After his apparent death in the previous episode, Marc Spector and his other personality, Steven Grant, are trapped in the Duat — the Egyptian realm of the dead. There, they meet the Egyptian goddess Taweret. She…

X-Men: the Animated Series’ best episodes, picked by its creators

This story was originally published when X-Men: The Animated Series first arrived to Disney Plus. We’ve updated and republished it for the 30th anniversary of the acclaimed Marvel cartoon. In the early ’90s, Fox Kids needed attention. The nascent Saturday morning programming block was part of the youngest network on TV, and Margaret Loesch, head of the children’s division, knew a risk could net a high cultural reward. So she greenlit X-Men: The Animated Series. A Marvel comic book series with a sophisticated…

The 7 Best And 7 Worst Episodes Of Avengers Assemble

Finally introducing Falcon, one of the show's best characters, onto the Avengers team, "Ghost of a Chance" is the series' third episode and one of its worst. The episode opens with Iron Man introducing Falcon to the Avengers at the Avengers Tower, but things start to get weird when Hawkeye doesn't recognize Falcon despite their multiple prior encounters. As time goes on, they realize that the Avengers are being replaced by interdimensional beings that copy and replace people, essentially sending their prey…

How to turn off autoplay previews and episodes on Netflix

It’s movie night. You find the comfy spot on the couch, launch Netflix, and start scrolling through the streaming service’s vast catalog. But, linger over one title for too long, and scenes from the selection begin to blare out at you. Netflix’s autoplay is easily one of its most annoying features, and it's surprising how many people don't know that they can actually turn it off. And it doesn't end there. Netflix's autoplay also applies to when you're at the end of a TV show episode and it automatically starts to…
